BRAUN watch battery replacement

The battery of BRAUN's watch BNH0032 is dead.

To save money, I've been replacing the battery in my watch for several years.
Because the battery runs out in about a year.
The replacement fee is around 1000 yen every year.
It's a hassle to bring it to the store.

I bought the tool because I thought it would be better if I could replace it myself because it will be used for a long time.

Open the back cover with this opener.
However, this tool is a little machined.
The metal part at the tip that is inserted into the back cover is thicker than the gap between the watch body and the back cover, so it is thinned by sanding.

BRAUN watches have a protruding part on the back cover.

Insert the tip of the opener here and open it so that the back cover is raised by the principle of leverage.
* Probably cannot be opened with a precision screwdriver.
* To prevent scratches, it is better to put a patch between the tool and the watch body.

While inserting the tip of the opener into the back cover, raise the back cover to remove it.

The battery replacement date when I asked the shop is written down.

Remove the old battery.
Move the presser foot in the direction of the arrow with a thin tip such as tweezers.

Remove the battery.

The button battery is SR621SW.

Install in the reverse order of removing this. Don't forget to lock it again.
Fit the back cover firmly.
It takes force to fit the back cover. It doesn't fit with just the force of your fingers. Push it in while putting your weight on it.

This completes the exchange. It takes less than 5 minutes.
